The most extraordinary thing about Marie is how ordinary she is. (Or perhaps it’s her ability to lose things like grocery lists, phone numbers and her car in the parking lot.) She is sometimes impatient, frequently forgetful and often disorganized…but always, always grateful for her abundant life in Jesus.
Marie has been thinking in the third person and writing in her head most of her life. Once in a while the words find their way to scraps of paper or blog entries.
She has been married to Scott, an incredibly patient man, for 30 years. Obviously she was a toddler when they got married. They have six children, and four absolutely adorable grandchildren. Marie loves reading, writing, Scrabble, hazelnut coffee, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, laughter, four seasons, long winding dirt roads, babbling brooks, rushing rivers and so, so much more.
We have this treasure in earthen vessels. 2 Corinthians 4:7
